Many smallholder farmers in Malawi rely on subsistence farming, which often does not produce enough food for them and their families. Further, these farmers have limited skills and agricultural knowledge to diversify crops or supplement their income from other reliable sources.  To address this issue, HFK Malawi is starting a new agricultural program, Milk For the Needy, which will raise money to purchase cows and build sheds.  Milk production will be given to the needy, as well as sold to raise funds to continue the program.
